His original photographer had canceled, and he needed someone to capture this once-in-a-lifetime moment. Lucky for him, not only was I available, but Charlie also happened to be a childhood friend—making this shoot even more special. The next morning, we hopped on a call to finalize the details. The plan? A dreamy sunset proposal at Pass-A-Grille Beach at 7:30 p.m.
I arrived early to secure the perfect spot, ready to document every second of this unforgettable evening.As the sun dipped toward the horizon, I received a text: "We're here." My heart raced with excitement as I prepared my camera. Charlie and Camryn strolled down the beach, Charlie with one hand firmly tucked in his pocket. "Look! There's a dolphin in the water!" Charlie said, pointing out toward the waves. Camryn eagerly scanned the water, searching for the elusive dolphin. But when she turned back to Charlie, she found something even more magical—him, down on one knee, holding out a ring. The shock and joy on her face were priceless, and I clicked away, capturing each raw and beautiful emotion.
We then transitioned into a mini engagement session. Camyrn kept smiling down at her ring, taking it all in with pure joy. The golden hour light and the gentle waves made for the most breathtaking photos. Charlie and Camryn’s proposal was a beautiful reminder that love, spontaneity, and a little bit of sunset magic can create the perfect moment.
